Mark Kammer is a Registered Patent Attorney and co-founder of the Intellectual Property Law firm of Kammer Browning PLLC in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Kammer obtained his Juris Doctor (Law) Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas in 1980. Prior to entering the legal profession Mr. Kammer served as a Research Scientist at Southwest Research Institute and later as a math and science teacher. Mr. Kammer has over 20 years experience in the Intellectual Property field where his practice has been devoted to the representation of individuals and businesses in the acquisition, protection, management, and licensing of Intellectual Property Assets. Representations have included the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and foreign offices. Patent technical areas include computer hardware and software, electronics and telecommunications. Client services include the management of trademark and patent portfolios and the drafting and development of transactional agreements related to Intellectual Property. Mr. Kammer also serves as an expert witness in Patent and Trademark Litigation matters.
